Why did we make this?
I always had one gripe with the server list, when a map was loaded from URLs such as Google Drive, live.warthunder etc it would always show an unreadable URL, so when searching for servers to join you weren't actually sure which mission was currently in play. By creating a custom URL generator which can be personalised based on the map makes it easier for other people to know what mission is loaded.
Why should I use this over other URL shorteners?
This is personally just a little project of mine which I would love for other people to use, it offers few benefits over other shortener sites, but the subdomain makes it feel more authentic to War Thunder. It also allows you to have a far more flexible URL, with dashes or underlines, CAPITALS or lowercase, which not all support.
Are my missions safe from tampering?
Only 2 people have access to the mission files, and we have no reason to edit them in any way. I personally want this website to thrive so maliciously messing around with the missions wouldn't be in my best interest!
